Rita’s always felt like a character to me, she's strong and grounded but playful. Her life and career carried empowering undertones for women of her time: the push and pull between image and identity, strength and softness. Adding hand-drawn tattoos was like an act of rebellion and a way of honouring her story.

Each print is produced as a museum-quality giclée using archival inks on fine-art paper and made to last a lifetime. Every frame is handmade from FSC-certified solid wood, glazed with real glass (or high-quality Perspex for larger A1 frames), and finished with an acid-free mount to protect the artwork.

Because each piece is custom-made to order, pricing reflects the craftsmanship and sustainable materials behind every print rather than mass production. My goal is to keep the work accessible while maintaining the quality and longevity expected from fine-art prints.

All artwork is printed and framed in the UK by The Print Space, a carbon-neutral studio that handles each piece with care from start to finish.
